The money we raised will support necessary programming to hold space and make community for those who struggle to find community. It’ll support developing new leaders and launching new initiatives in the Oak Lawn neighborhood for the good of Dallas and the world it inspires.
Your generosity builds a more perfect Union, changes lives and inspires people across the country.
I was speaking at an event put together by the Forum for Theological Exploration. Nearly 100 college and seminary students from across the country traveled to Atlanta to explore possibilities for how they might serve their communities. In workshop after workshop, students and other leaders for the event told me how Union has been an inspiration to them. Many of them didn’t think that there’d be a place for them in the church or non-profit world to creatively have an impact. They knew Union’s story before I told it and they will do even greater things as a result.
Union ripples beyond Dallas and beyond the United Methodist Church.
Power and strength are building.
Some of those ripples are starting to make waves.
