PRide 2026

At Union, we celebrate Pride every month.

One of our core values at Union is Sanctuary, and we know that Sanctuary is more than a place. Sanctuary dwells in people and swims in cups of coffee that warm our hands and tell us we are okay. Sanctuary is a choice that we make to offer refuge to those who are threatened.

As a means of cultivating the divine spark in all people, Union supports and actively works towards equity for and full inclusion of all persons regardless of race, background, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. We strive to create not just a space, but also a community of sanctuary that welcomes all people so that all are celebrated for their God-given identities.

When we celebrate Pride, we remember a tipping point in queer history — The Stonewall Riots, which lasted 6 days in Manhattan during June 1969 as police clashed with LGBTQIA+ protesters.

We acknowledge that we live in a world of profound social, economic, and political inequities, and we commit ourselves to the pursuit of justice and pledge to stand in solidarity with all who are marginalized and oppressed. As a member of Reconciling Ministries Network, we commit ourselves to dismantling the institutionalized homophobia braided into the fabric of The United Methodist Church. On May 3, 2024, the harmful language related to the LGBTQIA+ community was officially removed from church law in The United Methodist Church.

Union is a business, non-profit, and church all rolled together into a coffee shop that exists for the wellbeing of our neighborhood—a neighborhood with a Sanctuary legacy that we are proud to be a part of.

Pride Parade

Come out to Dallas Pride and look for us in the 2026 Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade on Saturday, June 6th in Downtown Dallas. We’ll be throwing out some cool swag! If you would like to walk with us, we’d love to have you! Contact Katie Newsome at katie@uniondallas.org for the details.

Pride Variety Night

Join us on the lawn for our Sixth annual PRide variety night!

Friday, June 26th, we will celebrate a wide variety of queer performers on our outdoor stage! We have musicians, poets, spoken word artists, comedians, and more! Pride Drink

Inspired by Texas summers, front porch conversations, and the sweetness of finding your people, Pie-Curious is a celebration of belonging. Luxurious brown sugar meets hints of peach in our take on a peach cobbler. This Pride offering is smooth and comforting, bringing out the feeling of being truly at home. Because Pride isn't just about being seen—it's about being welcomed, loved, and knowing there's a place for you at the table. Whether you're out, questioning, an ally, or simply craving something delicious, this drink is our invitation to savor a little sweetness and a lot of community.
